Eyecandy Chain Maille

I was inspired to make the Crosses by a boyfriend who wanted me to make a pendant for a byzantine chain I had made him. That first Cross was plain and quite large. Another customer who had seen that Cross asked if I could make one that was a bit smaller and had a birthstone in it. Well, it was a matter of reworking the Cross and making the center a bit more open to hold the prong setting but since I was intent on keeping the byzantine weave and the original design of the Crosses I spent the time and effort to make the changes. I love making the Crosses and this one is especially gorgeous with the violet-blue Tanzanite in it. I know that when it eventually finds its forever home that its new owner will love it as much as I loved making it.
